Australian Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard MP, recently announced the Australian Federal Election will be held on 14 September. This long campaign will provide the opportunity for extended debate on policies by all political parties and the Australian community, wherever they live. We asked nine Australians (including Sally Paridis of CoClear) living abroad what issues they think should be front and centre in the upcoming election discussion, and whether their views have changed since moving overseas.
