Who we work with

CoClear works with leading, global consumer goods companies determined to unlock efficiency opportunities in their value chain.   We provide accurate life cycle assessment metrics for companies to find efficiency as well as cost saving opportunities when implementing strategies to lower their emissions.  Projects range from supplying our fast life cycle assessment methodology to calculate thousands of LCAs in a portfolio to providing third party verifications on single LCAs.

Our technology partners are international thought leaders.  Our proprietary technology was developed at Columbia University.  We have worked with The Spry Group to design and create clear, user-friendly interfaces for communicating life cycle metrics.  The data is processed via our connection to FoundationFootprintTM’s award winning data management system.  Our supply chain mapping utilizes the MIT Media Lab developed Sourcemap.

Product LCA is a technique to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product’s life, from raw material extraction through to material processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and maintenance, and disposal or recycling.

Our unique approach helps brands assess their environmental impact from the product level. Developed through a collaboration with private, public and academic organizations, CoClear is a truly multi-stakeholder sustainability solution.

CoClear is developed on the principles outlined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol‘s Corporate Value Chain Life Cycle Reporting Standard, the CDSB Climate Change Reporting Framework and the Global Reporting Initiative.

CoClear is GRI certified and pro-actively helps corporations and members of their supply chain understand and communicate their impact.
