With SpryGroup we’ve developed a pioneering data visualization depicting the life cycle analysis of hundreds of commercial and consumer products, we call it Carbon Catalogue. The underlying data represents the detailed product submissions made by companies to CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) between 2013 and 2017 as part of their 'Supply Chain Climate Change Information Request’.
CoClear was able to break down each product footprint into its bottom up contributions: upstream, manufacturing (i.e. company owned facilities) and downstream. Identifying these stages of a product’s life cycle allows companies to locate where in their value chain emissions are greatest.
